Smoky Mountain Storytellers

Each month, Smoky Mountain Storytellers brings together 8-10 readers from around Western North Carolina and beyond for an intimate evening of readings in the storeroom of Outdoor 76, in downtown Franklin, NC.

We begin each night at 6 p.m. with a pop-up book shop by City Lights Bookstore. Nestled in the taproom located in the back of the Outdoor 76 store, attendees have the chance to grab a local brew, shop for books, talk with writers, and catch up with the community.

At 7 p.m. the lights go down and the show begins. Each evening features a mix of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry from a mix of established authors and students of the craft.
